The mission of The Growth and Recovery Center is to identify and alleviate psychological conflicts and emotional pain. We are a group of seasoned practitioners that accepts insurance. We are credentialed with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance because we are committed to providing therapy to people who otherwise might never have the opportunity to work with experienced providers. We believe that in the process of psychotherapy there may be risks involved such as recalling painful memories or experiencing powerful emotions– anxiety, sadness, or anger, but the benefits will be that you will feel better about yourself and will be able to manage your life the way that you would like to handle it. Some of the clinical areas that we as a group have expertise in include depression, anxiety, couples therapy, grief and loss, and trauma.
Some of our practitioners specialize in addiction recovery, especially sex and love addiction, and we offer 2 therapy groups for male sex and love addicts as well as a group for those with legal consequences. In addition to therapy, The Growth and Recovery Center rents space to the Lafayette Hill Clubhouse of Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous (S.L.A.A.) evenings and over the weekend.
